Our course is 1500 clock hours of technical instruction and practical operations. Technical instruction includes demonstrations, lecture, classroom participation, and exams. Practical operation includes working with real clients and mannequins. Our curriculum involves instruction in:
- Shaving
- Haircutting
- Coloring
- Texture
- Basic Manicuring
- Basic Facials
- Laws
- Health
- Safety
- Sanitation
- And More
During the first 450 hours of class, this time will be devoted to learning shaving, sculpture, color, laws, and health, and additional areas of expertise for barbers. After that, students can move to the salon floor for 930 hours. Then, students move back to the classroom for 120 hours to learn state board procedures.
